Putting a spotlight on women’s health: addressing the poor experiences and worse health outcomes women experience

Gender health inequalities have long been an issue. Women often struggle to be heard and to have their health and wellbeing needs met. There have been, and continue to be, many missed opportunities for health services to improve the health and wellbeing of all women. 

The event will bring together those working in the health and care system to find practical solutions to the experiences women have, both in terms of their access to and experience of the health and care system, and disparities in outcomes. 

Join partners across the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector, local government, and organisations across the health and care system to discuss and explore opportunities embed women’s voices more deeply in the system.
